Heddlu in Wetherspoons today

Why make a point of singling out City fans and asking them to leave when for example a father and son who travel independent (no travel restrictions) meet other exiles for a beer, have a meal and integrate with home fans with no problems whatsover, no colours, pin badges or chants yet they are told to leave by plod along with one or two others. What powers do they have to enforce exit of well behaved people from a public place when there is no apparent reason- so much for family club of the year!!
