Wolves manager Kenny Jackett knows his side are in for a tough test as they prepare to take on Cardiff City at Molineux tomorrow.

Wolves have made a bright start to life back in the Championship, and have already recorded victories over two of the sides relegated from the Premier League last season, Norwich and Fulham.

Cardiff are the third of that trio, and Jackett believes that the Welshmen will provide a stern test for his players.

"Cardiff will be bigger, stronger and more powerful than Fulham and they will have more established players than a Fulham side that in the end had six players or 21 and under," he said.

"It would be great to get that third win because it looks a very tight division already. But I’d suggest that Cardiff with their strength in depth and experience will take some stopping."

Cardiff have added a number of players to their squad over the summer, including the recent signing of former Norwich man Anthony Pilkington, and Sean Morrison, who joined from Reading.

Jackett added: "It will be a different type of test in that Cardiff are really strong in every area, when you consider they took Morrison from Reading for £3m then Anthony Pilkington from Norwich – it just shows they’re continually looking to strengthen all the time.

“They’re both experienced, good Championship players who have done very well in this league and both have played Premier League games as well. Looking right through their side, they’re a very good team and you wouldn’t bet against them being right up there at the end."
