' bloody stress '

What stress was malky under?

Turmoil not knowing what to spend his wages on
Dont think he was stressed out worrying about paying his mortgage or gas bill or electric bill or feeding his family
Didnt have to choose wether to go out for a meal or go to the football

REAL WORLD
malky was priveledged to manage cardiff city and he was very well paid for doing so
Managers and players in football today are spoilt and very well looked after
A typical day would be something as follows
Arrive training ground 9 to 9.30
Given breakfast
Amble out for warm up about 10.30
Amble back for massge warm down 12 to 12.30
Lunch is also prepared for them at the training ground
Some will go for gym work some will go for a swim
Most will be leaving for free time for the rest of the day
On day before away game they will leave after lunch to go to there hotel
Very hard stressful life
I have no idea how players and managers cope and with so little pay as well
Come on guys dont feel sorry for those that lose thier Job
Eg malky dont need to work ever again financialy
So keep your fear and worry for those that deserve it
The starving the home less the sick etc
Well thats my take on it for what its worth
We are cardiff city we will allways be blue :bluescarf: :ole:

Be fair though , they are footballers , they need to earn enough in their short careers to be able to take them through the rest of their life because football is all they know . After retirement at 35 they are not capable of doing anything else :(

At the bottom end of the league I will grant you this. But championship and up is a different thing, most of them are overpaid and waste their money all through their career. Ordinary working people have to budget and save and invest for their families and retirement with far less funds. If you gave me the choice of working till 65 and earning 40k a year or earning £10,000 a week for 10 years I would take the latter..........come on.

I'm sure your post is tongue in cheek but I say Just because they are footballers it doesn't make them thicko's,many people have careers ended through illness or they can't do manual labour or they just get made redundant but they don't just give up,every footballer should be preparing for life after football, many go into the media, some coaching but they don't give up.Once your career ends surely you want to do something or you will go crazy,I know I would go mental if I had nothing to do and surely self worth comes into it.

Many footballers will earn more in a year than I earn in my life.

But managers are different - it is not just a case of turning up as you stated. They have to plan the training, prepare for the next match, do interviews, meet owners etc etc.
I saw a program about Paul Dickov when he was at Oldham and he was up at 5.30/6.000am virtually every day. So the managers probably work 80 hours per week with a lot of stress and hassle form above and below. Obviously they are well paid for this, and many probably enjoy it, especially the financial rewards. But think of the stress on their personal life and in particular their families.

Would you want to work for a boss like Tan and especially at Cardiff City with the sly people that are working there? Constantly having to watch what you say and do, as they will spread it around and grass you up. It must be like a Stalinist state at the club.

5k a week over 4 years =1 million pounds
10k a week over 4 years =2 million pounds
I will let you do the rest yourself
how many of our players are ONLY on 5k a week
ffs get real players don't need to work ever again if they have a 10 to 12 year carreer at ONLY 5 k a week they have earned 3 million
aman working from lets say 20 years of age until 65 years of age earning lets say 30k average per year will only earn 1.35 million in his life time less tax and national insurance of course
oh and he want be able to put loads into a pension or off shore account as he would only just be earning enough to get by on

Well im all broken up about those poor managers getting up at 5-30..........most of us do it all our working lives and most of us don't finish at 12-30 to play golf.........we are still there at 5-30 in the evening..........6-7 days a week, sometimes doing jobs we don't like for shite pay.Wake up and smell the coffee for Christ sake.
Tell some of those managers that rapid grid are looking for groundworkers. :laughing6:

The kim text was sent went he was on his way over to sign for us - there was no bad relationship between malky and tan then in 2012 -no stress, no justification. just more spin and lame excuses...

I don't want to see anybody on their arse, but Malky has money from playing which normally sets people up for life. He also received good couple of years coaching at the top. He isn't on the breadline, and don't think we have to worry about him. I reckon he could end up as an assistant in Scotland or Quatar soon enough. He also probably has a fat Swiss bank account from creaming from us to pay for his yacht in the Caribbean, so no we don't have to worry about him.
