The Bluebirds hierarchy have taken action, in the form of a detailed dossier, under laws E3.1 and E3.2 in the FA’s own rulebook, which come under a general heading of Conduct.

It follows a seven-month investigation by top London law firm Mishcon de Reya into the work done by Mackay and Moody during their two and a half years at the helm with Cardiff.

The promotion-winning Bluebirds manager and his trusted No2 Moody are the subject of a top-level FA investigation over claims “sexist, racist and homophobic” messages were sent.

If its not true, why did palace turn so fast, and why did Moody resign? Parish wouldnt push his mate out or stop at the last minute from hiring another unless they were both very much guilty!

I can see another few weeks of back and forths before like last time, Malky and Moody apologise, but this time i think it will be a bit more heart felt

If you recall, when Malky was dismissed he was similarly indignant, letting everyone know that he was going to persue the club through the courts to claim what was rightfully his.

That didn't happen did it?

Malky has to say something like this to try to save whatever small iota of credibility he may still have.

If the allegations are untrue then he should be talking about peruing the accusers for defamation rather than talking about defending himself.

There is absolutely nothing else he could say. He's hardly likely to cough for everything until its proved and played out fully. Surely nobody's nieve enough to just believe what he says now.

Pretty sure Max Clifford and Rolf Harris said the same thing.

If you remember, when Malky and Moody made their apologies, it was stated that the would not take any more action against the club, and that he paid his own costs which were reported to be £120,000. Now correct me if I'm wrong but that means he would have to enter into more costs, which means starting from scratch.
We have been told that certain people new about the e-mails but out of respect for Malky kept quiet, if that is right then they must have felt that they were true, and if true then Malky is guilty as charged, and I believe if they are true, then I would suggest that he keeps his head down and stays, if they're not true then why didn't continue the fight last time, because I feel he will not get the backing of the Managers association this time.

Still too many questions to be answered yet, and I feel that this will roll on for a while yet.

Take a step back and ask yourself what you would think if this was happening at another club (obviously Swansea apart)?

For me, I'd just think "Strewth, Malky and his mate seem to have been caught out and exposed for wrong-doing!" and then move on with the more important thingsin life! As odd as it sounds, most people don't spend their lives monitoring every little thing that goes on at their rival clubs (which is why I left Swansea fans out of the equation, of course! )

I certainly wouldn't be taking the Mick out of the club itself, as they (IMHO) would have done well for bringing it to the fore in a sport where lots is brushed under the carpet!

The club (nee Tan to some with negative agendas) appear to have done little wrong in this instance and no one will blame them for ensuring that ANY (never mind the fans hero Malky) person who spouts such homophobic, sexist and racist stuff, will be brought to book morally, and as laid down in FA Rules!

It's a massive shame, but assuming it is all true (and the indicators are looking pretty damning right now) then other club's and their decent fans should be applauding Cardiff City FC for exposing a (maybe) fraudulent and morally corrupt duo, as well (in Palace's case) a club that also cheated by gaining the Cardiff team sheet illegally!

It also beggars the question of why Pulis resigned/walked away the week the 'Spygate' news was released, doesn't it?

as usual, you're spot on. Unfortunately some people are so blinded by hate they can't just admit that Tan was (once again) right in sacking Malky and reporting this to the FA. So they're looking to latch on any feeble excuse to try to find wrong in Tan's actions. Pathetic but true.
