I was one of the posters who doubted the integrity of MM and thought that nothing was as black and white as the meda and some of our fans believed.
It was all too easy to go along with Tan as the pantomine villain and MM as the heroic manager (and ex player). Yet it seemed that MM was on the lookout for jobs long before leaving Cardiff and putting himself forward in the media and public eye on M of the Day etc. Well he who lives by the sword can also die by it.
I am sure that VT is not the easest guy to work for and I dont think he is suddenly wholly correct. I disagreed strongly with the rebrand.
However having supported City for nearly 50 years I cannot recall many (any?) chairmen who did more for the club. Even if he supported local hospitals and charities he got chastised for it.
Whether you like Tan or not, we should all AGREE THAT HE HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN FAIR TREATMENT. E.g The insulting chants and banners (Tan Out and In Malker we trust(!!) ); some disgusting and racist coments on here.
The media were keen to make him look corrupt and silly at the same time. I recall an S4C expose that revealed virtually nothing and had to admit that he did a lot of work for charity etc
I dont ask for respect for VT but just FAIR PLAY AND A FRESH START.
As for MM refusing to resign and trying to get a massive payout from the club -words fail me. Whatever we thought of MM as a manager, he seems to have been a shameful person. Not fit to lace Jimmy Scoulers boots!!
