Why the f**k does Tan deserve even the slightest bit of respect from the fans?

Going by your logic, because Malky sent those awful messages (unforgiveable), that means Tan deserves respect? For what exactly? Changing our kit colour, changing our badge, dividing our fan base, killing the atmosphere at the stadium?

We are still in debt, he has no respect for the clubs traditions, culture, history etc, as far as im concerned, he is still a complete wanker and will recieve absoloutely no respect from me unless he changes our colours and badge back, and apologises for the whole rebrand.

As far as starting a chant for him goes, it is possibly the worst idea i've heard on this forum in a while. I literally could not bring myself to sing for a man who has destroyed our club.

All i will say is that Malky WAS right to be sacked, now that everything has come out. Despite the fact that i think he would have kept us in the Premier League, the text messages he sent were completely unacceptable and he and moody should not be allowed to be involved in football ever again. BUT this whole incident has not changed my opinion on Tan.

Or the fact he's put millions into making this club a success, supporting managers and kept a respectful silence about the racism, homophobia and sexism until he sent a report to the FA.

Tan wanted to make his own print on football, a sport he's fallen in love with and did it in the wrong way by changing our badge/colour.

Pro-blue people have twisted Tan to be be some evil mastermind when it's clear, he's just a socially autistic Malasyian billionaire.

So wind your neck in pal. The club hasn't changed, the history hasn't changed. The colour of the kit did.


Also if you think getting to the Prem for the first time, making marquee signings and building the best ever Cardiff City squad is destroying us, you really haven't got a f*cking clue pal.

I haven’t had a change of heart on Tan purely because of today news on Malky, I have made many similar threads to the ones I have made today in the past. I am simply pointing out that a think it’s another feather in the cap for Vincent Tan for the way he has handled this situation, a lesser man may have used this any leverage to get the fans off his back during the 'Don’t sack Mackay' chants.

I'll also give you my stance on the rebrand since you've been so kind as to dedicate a thread to me. I would take blue back tomorrow if it was offered, but it hasn't. I feel the fans should respectfully work with the fans reps to meet with Tan and work out some form of compromise. I cannot, and I will not disrespect the man who is bankrolling our club on a day to day basis, you can choose to believe or disbelieve the 'red or dead' scenario, the fact is we will never know what could have happened if Tan had not stepped in, all I remember was the winding up orders and the Echo headlines about players not getting paid, when i compare that to the how the club is today I find myself grateful.

Alright perhaps a suggestion of chanting to Tan to change his ways in a more respectful way than 'Vincent Tan Vincent Tan you’re a wanker' is a bridge to far for some fans, but I think a change of tact is required in order to get the blue back, protesting and abuse has been tried and its failed.

I blame tan for my laptop screen being broke, he knew I come on this forum and for weeks my EE connection has been on and off on my mobile! Tans everywhere!!

quite right Gav, at least where we are now is selling on our terms and not having players sold at cut price to pay the bills or a player crying because he didn't want to be sold but had to go just to the taxman. I honestly don't believe we would even still exist without Mr Tan bankrolling us. Cut out the childish name calling and get some serious dialogue going.
