The Truth Is Sometimes Ugly

Thu Aug 21, 2014 11:15 am

and events over the last 24 hours have in my opinion been truely hideous.

I have been a big supporter of MM and was unhappy about the way he was treated by the club in the weeks prior to being sacked. But the revelations over the last 24 hours have opened my eyes in respect of the type of man he is and I've come to the conclusion that I've been manipulated into believing that these allegations against such an apparently decent man were unfounded. We now know that the allegations are absolutely true and both MM & IM have been exposed as bigots and thier opinions are morally revolting.

IM has this morning resigned from his position with Crystal Palace, Why?, because his position is untenable because he has been proved to be a vile bigot.

We also now know MM had been found out months before he was eventually sacked but instead of resigning, which with his position untenable like IM he should of, he decided to stay and in the process manipulate fans and media alike into believing he was the victim. I wonder how many who sang in support of MM at Liverpool would have done so if the knew they were voicing support for a bigot?

There are other allegations included in this dossier submitted by the club to the FA and I hope there is a full and thorough investigation into the facts.

This whole affair has in my opinion left MM with his reputation in tatters and I have no sympathy for him, and I would feel exactly the same with any other person who holds the same views as him.

I was a Malky bummer. I feel a fool now.

No more. I don't care if the allegations of fraud are or aren't true. The texts are enough for me, regardless if he was sending or receiving.

I am probably the most vocal backing of Ole on this board, but my fear is that others may too cautious of backing a manager again now that MM followers have been burned.

Still Ole has my support. And the least you can say is, when it comes to the transfer market, Ole wipes the floor with Malky.

I totally agree with you on this Castleblue. What i find staggering is the sheer level, & the degree with which this racism was vented, in public & in private.

Talk about institutional racism, this was totally & utterly out of order.

I wonder what the "Kick It Out", campaign think of all this??? This;

It's shocked me as well Rick and in my opinion the club had no option other than to sack MM.

all you guys have nothing to feel bad about. No one knew what was going on and a lot of fans, including me, were manipulated by Malky.

Those who should feel shame are the ones who know and still continue to support this vile man (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=146120)

So the LMA are supporting someone making racist comments because of the stress of the job. Where does that leave the kick it out initiative as regards the LMA :?

The disgusting part is there's still a few people like Adam Brown defending him, should feel ashamed and disgusted, disgraceful.

I was also a big supporter of Malky but unlike you I don't feel like a fool at all.
We weren't to know what was going on with regards to alleged racism, texts etc. how could we?
Apparently, there saying now that there were only 2/3 texts that were offensive out of 10's of thousands. More on most peoples Facebook page. I don't know but I think this will run on for a while yet & hopefully the whole truth will come out eventually in an inquiry although I won't hold my breath.
