It does! You posted it a bit early though. Gueye equalized for Millwall on overtime against Sheff Wed, so they are 3rd with 7p and the same GD CCFC still second anyway!

Looking at that and the teams that are on 7 points with us, I can't see any of them having staying power, maybe Forrest if he brings in more depth ?

The ones that I would say that could give us a real run for our money are Norwich and Watford I reckon.

Early days I know but our next 2 league games are key with a tough away to Fulham(never liked that place) and then a big game at home to Norwich. If we can come out of those two unbeaten then my confidence in this season will be huge.

Two bloody hard games up next so we'll see how they go. Couldn't have asked for a better start though, just get these tough games out the way and then get ourselves on a run!

I usually judge after 10 games but looking at that table and reading what is going on at other clubs just how close is that table now to what could be come the end of the season?

I reckon 4 of the top 7 will be in the top 6 places, Forest, Cardiff, Norwich and Watford.

At the other end 3 of the 6 bottom placed teams will be fighting relegation this season, Blackpool, Leeds and Fulham. Yep I think Fulham will really struggle this season.
