question Re: Canton Stand (standing)

Tue Aug 19, 2014 8:05 am

I've just moved my ST to the canton from the ninian (finally) and i've got a ticket in block 107. does the standing/singing section extend this far or is it just 105 and 106?

The whole of the Canton is a standing/singing section so you are entitled to stand.

i know that, but i dont want to stand up where people behind or around me are sitting down as, despite what im entitled to, i dont want to ruin the game for anyone else, im toward the back though so i'll probably be ok :)

Anywhere between 103 and 107 should be fine :ayatollah:

To be honest if there are fans anywhere in the Canton who complain about fans standing up it's their own fault for choosing to sit in a standing section.

I was in 103 last season and Stewards told us to sit down quite a lot. I moved to 104 this year who always seem to stand with no issues from stewards. So there are parts of the canton stand that aren't 'standing' sections.

I've been in block 105 since the stadium opened and on Saturday I found out they have moved the singing section somewhere else without telling me :D :D :D

I'm in block 107 and for the first time Sat I seen stewards telling a few boys to sit down as there had been complaints. Problem was, there were small groups standing all round 107 who nothing was said to.

The female steward was very firm with them  but as it is supposed to be a standing Stand...............

It's pathetic it always happens people get told to sit down by people behind them in the canton

If you want to sit Down why buy tickets in canton a standing stand? Stewards then get involved and the people sit down

Block 108 was standing last season but not this season really annoyed about that. Just another pair of hands choking the atmosphere. :(
