Same here. I cringe whenever I hear someone complain that there's no wifi in the stadium!

I agree for 90min ban the technology, you don't need it while watching the game. The press yes, the fans I don't think so.
Mon Aug 18, 2014 9:18 pm
More sets of fans should, terrible how many fans want wifi at the ground. Lots tweet at the game as well
Mon Aug 18, 2014 9:39 pm
Defiantly do not need internet during a game
Mon Aug 18, 2014 9:50 pm
Well said PSV fans!

I don't think anyone would complain if our club wasn't so pathetic by not announcing HT scores. Basically every away ground I've ever been to puts them up on the screen or announces straight away at HT. Some grounds like leicester even have a board that has all te scores from the league matches up for te full 90 minutes.Just shows another way that the media at our club is a complete shambles and has been for a long long time.

Bah, the title made me think the audience had made their phones wi-fi hotspots and named their connections various expletives against the club owners or something.
Tue Aug 19, 2014 8:12 am
Nothing wrong with fans wanting to use the internet on their phones before the game or during half time.
Tue Aug 19, 2014 8:24 am
wow, so much hate for this. i understand if YOU don't want wifi at the game (i personally turn my phone off) but how the hell does it affect you if other use it?
Tue Aug 19, 2014 9:16 am
The scores are up under the stand half time and full time anyway so what's the point looking at scores throughout the game
Only score that matter is the final and when you walk out the score is on ssn under the stand
More people concerned about other games scores than our team and atmosphere
Tue Aug 19, 2014 9:25 am
I agree with them. I only ever want to use it to check scores at half time.

but is that really enough to make you want to protest?
i fail to see how it affects those who don't choose to use it

It can be mildly annoying when somebody keeps announcing the latest PL, or JB scores, when you're trying to concentrate on the game in front of you.

What if people need to be contactable via email to keep food on the table and the roof over their heads ? It's the modern world lads FFS

They should get another job where they're in control of their career and life. 120mins without internet shouldn't interfere with anyone's livelihood in reality
Tue Aug 19, 2014 12:23 pm
Can't imagine why anyone would be this angry over wi-fi. If you don't want to use it, don't use it.
Would be handy for me as the 3G crashes and texts subsequently don't come through. People have always tried to get updates from other games, people had radios at NP and this is just a different way of doing it. Did people protest about the use of radios at NP?
Tue Aug 19, 2014 12:28 pm
They do have a point.
However PSV is a stadium & club which has a great atmosphere which is worth preserving - the Albion and the Amex hasn't got to that point yet. We probably wouldn't even notice if everyone was sat playing on their phones. We've got The Cloud wifi.

what a ridiculous thing to say!
they may have a job where they are in control, because they have access to their company/customers without being in an office. (through their phone)
and once again it begs the question: imagine if they don;t get another job, imagine if they do use wifi at the ground....how does that in any way affect you're matchday experience?
"oh no the guy next to me is...USING HIS PHONE!! I can see it in the corner of my eye and everything"
like brownie said, its the modern world (and he'll be the first to tell you we don't agree on very much at all)

Not really. I don't really do the whole protest thing.

Looks like they've been reading the forum well done to club for actually putting the scores up on the screen at HT.

Fully agree Always and absolute ridiculous thing to say. Get another job !!!
I can see it now:
Bank manager: just wondering why you haven't paid your mortgage, car, food, fuel and other monthly bills this month..?
Supporter: Well Thomas from the forum said that I needed to look for another job if I wanted to watch games as I wasn't able to keep in a touch with the office during important times because the game was on!!!!
Bank manager: I agree with Thomas on this one, let us pay your bills instead and you enjoy the future games

Try telling that to my transport customers who relay on my phone being on 24/7 so that I can ring the guys on standby for retail deliveries to go in. Those are the same guys which you and everyone else relay on for your items to be in the he shops on time
