If it wasn't for Huddersfield fans

Sat Aug 16, 2014 6:15 pm

There wouldn't of been any atmosphere , we were like Madrid and their 400 odd Seville , they got it right by constantly taking the piss out of us , 3 - 1 and you still don't sing , how true was that , the heart and passion has been ripped from the fans and our club , I was so excited yet so very disappointed and before any one starts there is only one reason for it whether you agree with what he has done or not . Tan the crazy superstitious dictator from Malaysia  :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Another Bullshit post from a fan who cares more about what the away fans think of City fans than the fact that we won a good game of football by being the stronger side!

Not bothered what they think just making a point , oh and you make a good point we won and rightly so against such a poor team wouldn't expect anything else would you . :old: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Bullshit post. Atmosphere was consistently shit long before Tan came along and was good last year in Red.

It was even shit at Ninian most of the time.

The atmosphere has been crap for quite a few years now. Excluding the odd game like Man C, Leicester play off and when we were down to ten men against them plus when the Jacks are in town generally the atmosphere has been poor.

Personallt I feel it has drop since we started moving up the leagues and the newer fans have appeared.

The atmosphere in the home end was shocking today.

It is true Huddersfield fans, less than 500 of them made all the noise, fair play to them

The atmosphere wasn't TOO bad. We've just won our first game of the season comfortably but you wanna care that a few people sung despite losing. What a wuss

An easy solution to a poor atmosphere, don't sit on your backside and expect others to create the atmosphere for you. The stadium isn't the problem its the new generation of fans who sit and expect to be entertained by others instead of making an effort to contribute themselves.

Spot on. Atmosphere at the old place is still revered, but we choose only to remember the highlights. There were very many games where the atmosphere was as dull as it was today, so it's nothing new.

Bring back terracing or deal with lame atmospheres most of the time. :old:

The atmosphere in the home end was shocking today!

So which end is the home end in a four sided stadium?

Sign of times at Footy these days.
We'll go to Huddersfield and the same will happen but we'll be the ones making the noise

No its not, its not true at all.

I was sat in the corner of the Canton/Ninian Stand.

I could hardly here the Huddersfield fans, they made a small noise every now and again, likewise I never heard a whisper from the far end of the Ninian Stand although you could see some hand clapping now and again. Same goes for the top tier on 1927 when they had a big flag out, could see hands going etc and the flag but couldn't here them

As for the home stands, The Canton Stand started the 'we will always be blue' chant on 1927. They sang 'we love you, we love you' loads of times. 'Kenwyne Jones, JONES, always believe in your soul' was loud as hell from where I was sat. Kenwynee do the ayatolah, Daehli do the ayatolah all loud, blue army, bluebird, da da da da da da da CITY, all sang,

Could not hear the Huddersfield fans the whole game! sitting in the Canton stand. I thought our atmosphere was decent at times but needs to be continuous. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Im not far from the away fans and so they sound loud.
Your right there is hardly any singing where i am any more, many have moved away due to the stewards, some have just gone to Canton stand and some have stopped all together.

Total bollocks, the atmosphere wasn't great but the Canton totally outsung them. Those who are saying the Huddersfield fans were making all the noise probably sit on the away section side of the Ninian Stand.
