ADEYEMI v MEDEL

Sat Aug 16, 2014 4:54 pm

Not just saying this because one is here and the other has gone, but please it couldn't be more obvious which player is the better one. Adeyemi is mobile, strong, intelligent and involved. Pretty much everything Medel wasn't.

Great signing by OGd! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

A bit over the top. I don't think he is better, yet. Also he is playing in the championship we only saw Medel in premiere league. But looks just the high energy player city needs. :thumbright:

For the championship Adeyemi is ideal, really liked the way he plays and I think we will see a lot more from him. Offers us a bit more strength and height which I think is needed.

Put it this way, getting 10m for Medel and paying a reported 1m for Adeyemi is very good business all round.

I was a big supporter of Medel. That said, Medel went about his work quietly whilst still doing a job, whilst Adeyemi seems to very clearly boss the midfield. I'd rather the latter.

Totally different type of players, Compare Medel to Digakoi when he starts. I think a midfield four of Digakoi, Adeyemi, Daehli, Pilkington/Noone will be quite something at this level

You do realise when Medel signed for Inter it was Milan not Cardiff.

Bluebina I fear you're right, at least early on in the season, but I have faith it will be sorted eventually!

Adeyemi has only played one and a half games for us and you're comparing him to Medel already. :laughing6:

Needless to say the gulf in class between Huddersfield and any PL team is massive. Great start for the lad but not playing against top-class opposition. Medel's distribution will of course be better as he is a top player. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
