Pompey have got the 'us against the world' mentality where all their fans are together. Unlike our support which is less so.
That aside, they do have brilliant support. If we were in league 2 we'd struggle to get 8000.

I'll be Monday to Friday now so weekends off so it makes things a lot easier to get to home games. My mate Russ has a season ticket now too.

Yeah I know we had 17000 in league 2 because I was there. What I mean is Pompey are getting similar gates regularly at that level whereas we didnt. That season you are talking about, we averaged 8000. Pompey will average 15000.

I was being kind. In 1996 when we were going to be homeless we asked Portsmouth could be ground-share with them and they and their fans voted and told us to f**k off and that's why we had to play at Gillingham.
