Tomorrow/TAN

Fri Aug 15, 2014 8:19 pm

Because of the recent events at Huddersfield and the pressures and expectations on Ole, tomorrow will be a very tough match. They will work extremely hard and pack their midfield denying us space. Our nemesis John a Stead is also playing and we need to keep an eye on him especially at set pieces. We need clever players like Daelhi and Witts playing in advanced positions and must get to the byline to put crosses into the box. So - we need the crowd right behind the players from the off and be patient. Above all - support the players and refrain from anti- Tan chants which does nothing constructive to lift the players. After all he is quiet is keeping out of things to allow Ole to manage and supported him in the transfer market.
Come on the Bloobirds. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Totally agree...I'm starting to have a little more respect for the man and what he is trying to achieve at the club. Childish songs calling him a wanker we can well do without , it's cringeworthy and it's disrespectful. Support the boys and make some noise

Re: Tomorrow/TAN

Let's at least leave off the name calling, yes people dislike the man but Malky had to go, the red thing is something which were going to have to get used to unfortunately. The red kit is a major f*cking piss off but I want the club/team to be successful so my mouth will be only shouting for the team for the foreseeable future.

COME ON CITY!!!!!!!!

All he has achieved is to divide the fan base'destroy our history get us relegated and make a laughing stock of our club and himself. The man is a spoiled crackpot. And as far as disrespectful goes'where is his respect for the vast majority of the clubs fans. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I hate the red, but i don't hate Vincent Tan. This man has done more for our club than any of us put together.

I don't need you telling me what to do thanks.

Tan chants or not I still back the team 100%,it's easy for him to change the atmosphere towards him.

Ain't changing the clubs colours disrespectful?

Re: Tomorrow/TAN

The good old 'anti Tan chants will negatively affect the players'. What a load of absolute bollocks!!! If people want to sing anti Tan songs and it's not racist etc, then that's their choice and won't affect the players one jot!

Hopefully it will upset Tan, he doesn't give a f**k about the fans, so why should the fans be concerned if they upset him??!!!

No because he 'invested' so much money and converted all the debt to equity. Oh wait...............

I would have to say no..it's not ideal but I would rather us play in red than be in Administration. He ain't for changing any time soon either. Except for changing the colour of our kit I think he has made more good decisions than bad.

Ok then, it's the last minute of the game and we have a Penalty, suddenly we start singing Vincent Tan is a wanker.Do you think this will help Whitts put it in the back of the net ?

Agree with what you say about his decisions that's why I say it's easy for him to get fans back onside. Colour change big for myself perhaps not so much for you matter of opinion I guess

Tan wants success at the club just as much as you or I , you only have to look at our stadium to see how far we have come in the last 3/4 seasons. The support he has given Ole pre season in the transfer market has been superb (especially after the Malky & Moody debacle) last season. When I think of all the toss pot chairmen we have had over the years Tan is not the worst that's for sure.

The only difference between him and others is the money he's got to loan the club. There was talk of making us financially stable with the rebrand, that has never happened as evidenced by spending another £4m on a defender.

Where's the huge impact in Asia and the financial riches it has brought the club by changing to a red kit?

Tan wants what's best for Tan not for the club, the same as Ridsdale and Sam. He's not into too deep to sell with the club being in the championship, looks like it's get back to premier league at any cost, so Tan can sell at the 1st opportunity if we get back. Tan has used us as nothing more than a play think, a way to woo politicians/famous people from Asia and as an advertising tool for his companies.

Gaffer and Stavros, what did you think when the likes of Tony Clemo ,the Kumars amd Sam Hammam were raping our club ? At least Tan is trying to build us up as a succesful club before he sells up !!!

Completely agree just the colour change hurts bad, everything else tans done is positive. He could of/be a legend here if he give our identity back.

The anti Tan chants DO have an effect on the players, they don't like it. Ask Marshall, it really Pisses them off. The fans should be the 12th man - shouting for the team.

Whilst building up record levels of debt and continuing a historic trend of the club being financially unstable and only surviving due to a reliance on loans from Tan.

Tan is only better than Sam or Clemo in the sense that he's actually got real money to loan the club.
