A forum for all things Cardiff City

Can we have the facility to "like" a post or comment.
I regularly see posts where someone has hit the nail on the head with a comment but can't be arsed with commenting and I think you could gauge opinions better if you had the facility to "like" or not a post.

Itll stop people from posting and adding value to a thread I think. It will also create a culture if posting irrelevant shite to get as many likes like plumbs do on Facebook already.

You're a very strange man.
Without coming across arrogant, the majority of my opinions usually end up becoming true facts. Look through my post history if you don't believe me, which I'm sure you will because you're clearly obsessed with me. I feel for you.
Getting back on topic, I think this will be a very good idea and will definitely give a better idea of what members think of posts.

A positive and negative counter would be good. There is a good example of this on the football shirt culture blog if anyone is aware of that? The comment sections has thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. You don't need to be logged in either so guests can rate a comment.

Here you go
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/14/ ... t-kit.html if you look here the first comment is unpopular but the next 2 are popular.

We have the facility on PlanetSwans and it's great for feeding egos. You can also see who 'liked' or 'disliked' your post.It caused murders at first but seems to have calmed down a bit now.Still, a good additional feature for a MB i reckon.

I don't see the point. People only start posting to get likes and it'll end up being bollocks instead of what they really think.
Just like Facebook.
