I'll trust him when he proves himself I will trust him but he deserves the chance to prove himself.

I think come October, we'll be seeing some brilliant football under Ole.

Fans need to allow time for this set of players to gel.

For those saying they want Pulis in now for some kind of short term fix to get us to the be all and end all EuroDisney that is the Premier League with two weeks of the transfer window left with many new faces singed by OGS who are now on long contracts - I'm sorry but I have to be extremely patronising and say you know very little about football.

Having a glance at our entire squad I would say there are about four players maximum who would fit into a Tony Pulis system/side. Our greatest single asset you might say is Daelhi, who is, exactly the kind of player Pulis would never ever play.

But football is not a sport about individuals, It is about teams and team systems. It has taken OGS until today to get a squad of players that he thinks would fit a system he wants to play. We have not any of us seen OGS's Cardiff yet. Wait a couple of months and we will see what the manager can deliver. And none of us know what that is...

Will we look back at this transfer window and say it was our best ever? Do you think Ole has done well with who we have sold/brought in?

Our 10 signings this summer have cost us less in fees than Fulham paid for McCormack or Blackburn forked out for Rhodes. Just so you know.

Would you mind typing a list of our transfer business this window to show what great business Ole has done, as I don't know the exact fees we have paid for every one of our new signings?

Well most of them have been on a free. :thumbright:

Adeyemi 1 million.
Pilkington 1/1.2million.
Le Fondre 1 million.
Morrison not sure.

GREAT BUSINESS.

The face that we got Adeyemi, Pilkington and Le Fondre for only £3m is insane.

Sorry Tonteg, hadn't seen this. Dando was right with his figures. Here you go with the complete list...

Javi Guerra (Real Valladolid) - Free
Federico Macheda (Manchester United) - Free
Guido Burgstaller (Rapid Wien) - Free
Adam Le Fondre (Reading) - £1m (I've read reports of fees rising to £1.25m as well)
Kagisho Dikgacoi (Crystal Palace) - Free
Charlie Horton (Peterborough) - Free
Tom Adeyemi (Birmingham) - £1m (I would expect there could be add ons or sell on clauses but I'm guessing here)
Danny Johnson (Guisborough) - Undisclosed (Could be a free, or a nominal fee)
Anthony Pilkington (Norwich City) - £1m (Some reports say £1.25m)
Sean Morisson (Reading) - Undisclosed (Early reports said £1m. Reports later said £1.5m)

One thing to note is a blog called 'Get Reading' which seems to have no kudos and a Reading FC agenda, claimed that the Le Fondre fee was £2.5m, which isn't true. They also claimed Morrison was signed for £4m, which a lot of other un-reputable sources then quoted. But if you take into account the early quotes (which tend to be on the money with deals that end undisclosed) and if you look at the pattern of figures above then it is obvious that this was not at all true.

It looks like somewhere between £4m - £5m has been spent. Of course there will be a lot on the wage bill, but we've off loaded quite a few on PL wages.

Great dealing by our leader.

I don't think Guido Burgstaller was signed for free. Didn't he have time left on his contract?
In any case I think he has done a good job in the transfer market.

Thanks for taking the time out to type all that out. I will give Ole credit, he has bought very well and we've had a very good start. I honestly didn't think we would be able to grind out a 1-0 win under Ole, but we did last night and those scrappy 1-0 wins are the types of games we must win to succeed this season.
