Morro set for Royals exit?

Thursday 14th August 2014

In a strange turn of events, Sean Morrison could be on the verge of a move to fellow Championship side, Cardiff City.

The 23-year old central defender has been subject of interest from the Bluebirds, with a bid being made yesterday and the player admitting he would like to speak to Cardiff. There were reports of a possible medical today, but those rumours appear to be false.

Morro still has three years left on his current contract and is still young for a central defender, so I imagine he wouldn't be going for cheap. A very surprising situation, but one that doesn't need to be overhyped if he leaves, Morrison is more than replaceable.

It will be interesting to see if Adkins was involved in accepting the bid from Cardiff, as a replacement will be needed if he does leave, with Pearce, Hector and Ferdinand our only defenders. Does Adkins have a replacement lined up? Will Morro even leave? We'll see.

I think OGS wants Keane from Man Utd but until Jonny Evans is fit I can't see Utd allowing him out on loan. Maybe OGS has been testing the water in case JE injury is worse than Utd think.

Just a back up plan in my opinion but in football you never know.

Also I'm trying to figure out what kind of player Sean Morrison is by adding together what Reading fans seem to think and he sounds like a right footed Ben Turner... Has anyone seen him play a few times? Does that sound fair?

Is that the kind of CB we are looking to sign?

Leave him at reading. Sounds shit by the sounds, I'd rather Hudson turner Cala and Connolly

Apparently he has requested to speak to Cardiff after a bid was accepted by Reading last night. Is travelling down this afternoon for talks after training at Reading this morning and telling Adkins he wants to move.
