Broken vertebrae (help)

I've only gone and broken the vertebrae in my back by falling through my shed roof !

Has any one ever broken or had trouble with their back ? Is it serious ? Recovery time ?

A lot of medical talk here and I have no idea

I suggest the way forward would be to speak with the doc..

Don't be silly, talking to a doctor when you can ask internet experts, tsk, shame on you.

it must be a hairline crack or you would be in surgery now having it screwed back together.
If so its either total rest or they put you in a corset to restrict movement, all depends which one you fractured.
