Some chat up here that we tried to get stokes from Celtic. He can play wide so perhaps that's why we might have looked at him, however with us signing Pilkington I would guess that stokes isn't coming.

Don't believe there was any truth in it. The rumour I saw was that we would swap stokes for daehli, which we all know would never happen. Sounds like a bit of wishful thinking what with the Norwegian manager connection and all.

It was put to me a swap for Kim or Gunnar.
