Giggs grew up in Manchester didn't he ???

Bale grew up here and loves Whitchurch and has many friends in Cardiff, I think he holds more affection to Cardiff than Giggs ever did.

Doubt it very much, if Bale starts becoming more influential like he already has done there.. they will keep offering contracts to make sure no-one touches him.

It's like Ronaldo going back to United, he would have to pay his own way out.. would Madrid let players like Ronaldo and Bale see their contracts out and f**k off on a free? They'd be least 35 if they do.

Depends where both parties are in ten years time, only way is up for Bale, he will go on to more greatness.

Bale will become one of the greats of the game, and in many ways I'm gutted that he's welsh, as his talent deserves to be on show at every international tournament too. If we ever get him, it won't be for another 12-13 years.

He loves Cardiff as a city, but I've never really heard him talk about the club itself. I'd say his relationship is with the country and city more than it is with the football club.

He's 25, let's see where he his in 5-8 years time. Personally I think he's only going to get better and better, I just honour the fact that one of the world's most high profile players is a proud Cardiffian.

At least we get to see him play for Wales.
