Well sorry Al i disagree with them on this one. There is no way on this earth that we would have let Vorm go for nothing. It was widely reported he went for £3m until the Utrecht complaint. We stitched them up good and proper. Although you did the same to West Brom over Gabbidon I still take no pride in this at all. :(

Allan, you failed to answer my question on the other thread, so I'll try again..

What is your stance on the Gabbidon/Collins transfer, where Cardiff employed exactly the same tactic that you're getting so upset over the swans using now?

I'm anticipating the same "I don't know anything about that" response, so here's a link to the previous thread. Have a little read and then come back to me..

I would say in Cardiffs defence, that at the time, we were absolutely desperate for any and all money, needed for the survival of the club. Swansea, it seems have just let greed get in the way of what should be ethical. It will probably come to bite them on the arse at some point, with future transfer dealings no doubt.

As already stated its a swap deal so can be structured in any way Swansea like and they can claim Vorm was a sweetener. However as others have said it really is bad form and will affect future dealings. Id certainly think twice when they are haggling by offering % sell on.

I take it you're not one who harps on about Swansea's 5p in the pound then? What's good for the goose eh? Anyway, like I said.. If fifa find anything untoward (and they themselves sanctioned the transfer) then we'll have to pay up. No big deal!
