If eligible we could give him a go in the cup.

Now there is the word ! Thank you for giving me the platform to score them goals. Now matter how good the striker is ,he needs the service of quality players around him. We have many midfield players and one of our best is Whitts ,BUT! I feel some times he takes time out and he dont make too many runs for mid field.

We also have quality on the wings with the likes of Noone but strikers like a certain kind of service. So not all strikers will fit in with all kinds of play, its vital we fine the right balance and soon. But the more players you have, the more difficult it is to fit them all in kind of like a Jigsaw puzzle there will always be one or two pieces that wont slot in.

That is where a good Manager can see the right pieces and slot them in to complement the balance of the team.
I just hope Ole can fined this balance and make the players complement each other soon,as I still dont think he has found it yet.

Even if it is the Conference North, that is an amazing strike ratio for a 21 year old. Hope to see him get some game time against coventry.

Forget playing Velikonja, he obviously has no future here. Maybe he should go to FC Sarajevo on loan?

Surely he's a calculated gamble. If he does well and progresses in his first year he's a bargain. If not we haven't spent a lot.

Good luck to the lad, but he's not from the Conference North. He played in the Northern League which is several tiers below Conference North i'm afraid.

No it's 3. Your looking at the northern premier. The Northern league div 1 is in step 5 if you scroll down. Thats were Guisborough play. :thumbright:

Cardiff have signed up a Non League goalscoring machine after signing Danny Johnson from Guisborough Town.

The 21 year old will link up with our development squad but if he can have his rough edges smoothed out, and he will have rough edge having played in the Northern League, then we could see him making his breakthrough in the not to distant future.

With 59 goals, unsurprisingly a club record, for Guisborough last season I think it's fair to say that the striker who started his career at Hartlepool United before a spell with Real Murcia knows where the goal is.

If anyone has the eye for a striker it should be OGS.

Sure. I bet he's taken the time out to watch him loads of times! :laughing6:

As I said though. Hope the boy does well. It's great to see lower league players get a break. Would love to see it happen more often. :thumbright:
