Sell Forster for £10m then only offer £5m for Marshall. C'mon, they can do better than that.

He was up Caerphilly mountain earlier, and he's really settled in the area. Yes, hes a Celtic lad, but his children have been brought up here. Seems very much the family man

Moore is good enough to be our number one keeper and if we cash in on Marshall, we can try and loan Butland :ayatollah:

I would loan someone who has made less of a name for himself and on less wages like Danny Ward at Liverpool who looks very good.

Hope Marsh stays though.

Marshall was a great success in the Premiership because he is an instinctive shot stopper who was kept very busy last season. Not sure he will be as successful again back in the Championship. Can still flap at crosses. Our second choice looks more than capable to me. Cash in at £6-7m. I say.

Cash in????? Don't be so daft!

Marshall is one of the wanted men I was glad we have kept hold of... Going to Celtic would be a backwards step for Marshall in my opinion...

I didn't offer an opinion on where should go. Just feel that maybe £7m. or so would be decent business.

Marshall is the last player that you'd want to monetise, as this season is all about a singular cause, not 'cashing in' because we have to. Part of his motivation is having a settled family here and we are fortunate enough to be located in a decent part of the UK for family quality of life. Produces the goods and he's a deserved fan favourite simply because of that. He's going nowhere and I'd personally be very happy if he spent the rest of his career with us and then coached our GK's.

 They'd have to double that figure, and even then I hope we'd laugh them off.

Think about it for a moment folks......do you think Marshall would even contemplate going back to Celtic at this stage.

paper talk. even if was true they can't afford him.

he's by some distance the best player at this football club. different positions and different players but mutch went for £6m yet we have some people on here saying sell at £7-8m. the chairman will laugh off offers of that value :ayatollah:
