Exactly, there were 2 horrible tackles on him during the game, he could have easily went off injured.

That said, I'm not sure if whitts is suitable for a cm role in a 2 man midfield

PW is a set piece specialist and thats it. I think these days Cardiff are a better side without him in the side and I didn't see any PL teams coming in for him either.

We will not get anywhere with Whittingham and Daehli playing as 2 of 3 midfielders in a 4-3-3 formation as they are too lightweight and we get overrun. If were gonna play 3 in midfield then we have to have Dikagcoi, Adeyemi and either Whittingham/Daehli as an attacking midfielder. Whittingham will cost us if we play him so defensively and deep, its not his game. Dikagcoi and Adeyemi can play defensive as their stronger, more committed and have more energy than Whitts.

Ole needs to get the balance of the midfield right, but we all need to remember that one of the favourites for promotion lost two points at home, so it couldn't have been so bad.

whitts is the best in his position, put a player next to him that can win the ball, do all the dirty work and then give it too whitts to distribute. Don't expect him to be a ball winner.

I'd say someone who gets upset about and has a go at Cardiff fans criticising a Cardiff player (Gestede) who then goes and criticises a CCFC player (Whittingham) themselves, is a hypocrite, no?

I would love Whittingham to come good but the reason he's the player to have most fans arguing over is simple he possesses bundles of ability but hasn't shown it consistently for quite a while. You can't help but like the guy and his commitment to this club is more than admirable in this day and age but he has to start showing his worth on a regular basis.
