The Good,The Bad and The Ugly..
It's worth reminding some fans that our defence last night was make shift at best.
In fact it was the very first time all four defenders have played together as a competitive back four.
Hudson missed pretty much all of our last campaign,as did Connolly.
Had it not of been for a moment of brilliance from the outstanding Tom Cairney,it would've been a clean sheet.
Marshall wasn't called upon to make Worldie after Worldie, which implies they weren't under the cosh despite Blackburns possession stats.
It's easy to spot there were issues in the middle of the park, but you will have to remind yourselves had the likes of Mutch,Medel,Noone, Digachoi been fir or still around that would've been different set up.
Tom Adeyemi has only had one real training session with the club.
I think we may see Digachoi and Adeyemi playing alongside each other at some point, and that they will go through so much work it will allow the forward player like Daehli le Fondre and co to make a real impact.
Wing backs looked ok and I struggle to see French Kev get back in to side unless he is firing on all cylinders and Brayford becomes complacent.
With talks of the defence being strengthened and other players arriving, last night showed that Our CB pairing of Connolly and Hudson whilst may not be first choice in many fans eyes, that they're more than capable at this level.
Happy with a point.
On to the next one...
