LAUGHABLE

Sat Aug 09, 2014 5:40 am

First game of the season, Mecheda, Dikagoi, Guerra, Noone, Turner, Injured, Cala banned Adeyimi signed the day before, just what do people expect, City fans must be the biggest moaners in the world, ffs keep calm, and be patient, there is a long way to go

It was a good point IMHO

I was happy with a point last night and I thought we worked hard for it :thumbright: :ayatollah:

people are entitled to their opinions and if a lot thought that Cardiff were crap last night then they are quite free to say so MAYBE there were reasons BUT at end of the day a lot including myself thought the team last night played with very if any shape and were quite pathetic the second half

Agreed,I thought Ole,s choice who to sub was laughable taking Kenwynne off when Lefondre was non existent, and Daehli when Whitts and Gunnar were having mares were unbelievable IMHO

Yes, let's wait until everyone is fit and then judge him. I thought the team dug in and battled hard for a point last night against a good Blackburn side.

Cardiff fans expectations have always been too high, it's ridiculous and frankly embarrassing.

I remember Cardiff fans booing a 1-1 draw with Blackpool

You'd think we might learn

Totally agree, I thought it was a very decent point, a huge plus was that the defence looked solid against a decent attack, by this leagues standard. How many chances did Blackburn actually have?? Some are saying we were completely overrun, yet to me, our goal never looked in danger  What, I find interesting, is that we now have a manager who is unpredictable, he will keep the opposition guessing. We could see from last night that he wants the team to move the ball quickly. The one disappointment was Maynard, if he isn't going to get the ball, I want to see him tracking back and tackling

Your comment of Le Fondre being non existant, is in my opinion incorrect. As Ole said he was asked to play out of position due to injuries etc. Le Fondre actually made some very important tackles in the right back position at times, he actually worked his socks off. In a team sport your work off of the ball is just as important as when you are on the ball, tracking runs, cutting out the space and suffocating the opposition.

As for Whitts, he really needs to sharpen up the way Rhodes did him for their equaliser was very poor for someone with Whitts experience and after a couple of bad tackles on him I think he bottled it a bit. As for Gunnarson, I thought he was marking fresh air half of the time. I know that this is the 1st game of a very long season and to be honest a point away at Blackburn is a very good start from a very tricky game.

Lets see what happens over the next 2 months, which will give us a better understanding of where we are as a team with a few more new faces in the squad.

If it was the 1-1 home draw when virtually every game in the country was off due to icey conditions - I was there, we were poor that day as were Blackpool, but you are right you'd think we lost 4-0!!

A point away is always a good point win the majority of your home games and draw the majority of your away games and you'll be near the top of the league come may.

Some of our fans are just clueless about football!

Annis, there are some on here who genuinely think we have Champions League standard 'flair' players hidden under those Cardiff City shirts!

I'm never quite sure if I'm watching the same game as some around me! LOL

Wasn't AT the game last night due to work, but watched it when I got home (without knowing the result) and we did well away from home on opening day, when there are traditionally some "odd" results!

Extreme opinions one way or the other AFTER ONE GAME are only made by people with agendas.

We have to remember that Blackburn were one of the form teams at the end of last season... They have a solid 11 that has played a lot together... Two good strikers... A good point away :ayatollah:
