You will never get a five star performance on the first day of the season as players are still getting up to full fitness, new players bedding in and getting used to a different type of game which the championship brings.

But, we played like without any substance in central midfield. All balls from Marshall went down the same line on our right - no dynamics. We need to pass the ball more and use both sides to move the opposition apart. I don't think Daehli and Le Fondre should b on at the same time. Must say Le Fondre worked hard also in defence, and gets us some good penalties.
At the moment we are to predictable - but still - wouldn't have expected a win!

Which it will, considering that was a far cry from what our first choice midfield will look like when everyone is fit,

We've gone to a promotion rival, unbeaten in their league since March, and taken a point off them with a team that will at no point be our first choice line up. Fair play to the lads I say, and god only knows what our first choice team could have done tonight.

Overall a good point earned - ok did not set the world on fire but it was the 1st game of the season and neither side wanted to lose.

Hudson and Connolly played well and I think the only real thing missing from our game was pace.

I hope thaif Khadeem Harris has a good game against Coventry on Tuesday, Ole will consider using him against Huddersfeild - the kid deserves a chance.

So many people panicking etc. I think Ole used the wrong players for his 4-3-3 tactics & have my doubts about him but let's give the guy a good chance.

If anything they had most of the ball second half, we looked fantastic off the ball with the energy and pressing.
