He's always been fit, but now he looks motivated.

This is what you get with Ole, superior man management. How do you think he made Dæhli such a loyal follower?

Annis. He's like FC. A championship striker.
Lee.

Last season Jones lacked match practice and it showed, morale was down and everything was a mess,
Now we have a game plan and a settled squad he looks like he could do a job for us.

Really ?

He gives the ball away constantly, poor finish for the half chance he had. Yes he did score but could hardly miss. With him on the pitch we only seem to want to play a long ball to him as well. Poor player.

After last season I didn't think I would say this, but as soon as Kenwyne went off today we looked awfully limited going forward. Gestede had a great game I thought for them.

Massive season for Jones this season. In the last year of his contract and if he doesn't perform he will find it very difficult to find a club who will sign him up on anything near his wage at the moment.

He was excellent tonight, won every ball and chased and pressurised the Blackburn back 4. Would like to see Le Fondre alongside him

Very negative post.
Jones played well today, and actually only lost the ball twice. Le Fondre and Maynard lost possession a lot more

He's a donkey in possession but his physical presence can be unplayable, as it was at times today.

A div? Lol. Being a Uefa C Badge qualified coach and study football coaching at university and working on my B badge Im probably less of a div and a more qualified opinion than yours.

Jones is good at defending corners, a good areal threat but his technical ability is poor. Probably why we are struggling to get rid of him and probably why he went 10 consecutive games without a goal. I think we would play better with Daehli as a central player behind the striker, not out wide, and Jones not playing at all.

Still haven't gotten over it? You need to find a missus mate.

   just seen your thumbnail

i still think he'll do well for us, maybe Guerras link play could've suited this game more but then he still would've had no one to pass to. Alf showed he cared today, i like him

Not being racist, jeez can't mention black people with being called a racist now.

sorry, i just don't see what it has to do with football......you implied that we used them as scapegoats because of the colour of their skin.....that's pretty racist

Le Fondre did a job for the team, like Rooney he is not at his best out wide, hardly surprising for an out and out striker......

Was suprised he played out wide, probably because of the lack of options with Noone injured. Le Fondre is a poacher is'nt he? the ghost-in-the box :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
