SOUTHAMPTON are willing to smash their transfer record after tabling a £13.5m bid for Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo.

Newcastle will hold a minute's silence ahead of their Premier League opener against Manchester City in memory of fans John Alder and Liam Sweeney who died on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which crashed in Ukraine.

Crystal Palace want to tie down winger Yannick Bolasie, 25, to a new three-year deal before the Premier League kick-off.

Midfielder Wes Hoolahan, 32, has handed Norwich a massive boost by signing a new two year contract.

Annis any idea on what defenders that Ole actually has an interest in?

Also regarding TV for Arsenal, what a bargain for Barca that is.

Blackpool building a squad more and more, FairPlay they are getting some decent people in for no money.

Mason Bennett a month younger than me talking to clubs over loan move, I am here having some chocolate cake giddy for Blackburn away, what a world we live in.
