Nottingham Forest break their transfer record with a £5m deal for Britt Assombalonga
NOTTINGHAM FOREST last night smashed their transfer record to sign Britt Assombalonga from Peterborough for £5 million.
But boss Stuart Pearce has now reluctantly agreed to let unsettled midfielder Henri Lansbury join Burnley.
Assombalonga, 21, will sign a five-year deal after having a medical last night.
Forest also completed a £1.5 million move to sign winger Michail Antonio from Sheffield Wednesday.
Pearce was desperate to keep ex-Arsenal midfielder Lansbury, 23, but he wants Premier League football and turned down a new deal.
Forest have also allowed keeper Karl Darlow and defender Jamaal Lascelles to sign for Newcastle in a joint £7m deal, although the pair will be loaned back for the coming campaign.

you could tell with the interview pearce down for sky sports he was pissed off cant see it lasting long there for him.
