Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watches on as young Cardiff City side beat Barry Town United 3-0
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was among more than 1,000 spectators who watched a young Cardiff City team win 3-0 against Barry Town United on Tuesday evening.
The Bluebirds manager and his coaching staff watched Cardiff’s under-21 players against the Welsh League outfit.
Anthony Bell scored Cardiff’s first goal after 26 minutes when he cut inside a defender and fired low into the corner from 25 yards, but City were rocked when Curtis Watkins was carried off on a stretcher with Deji Oshilaja taking over.
Cardiff included two trialists spotted when the development squad went on a pre-season tour to Portugal and one of them headed in from a corner to make it 2-0.

He certainly seems a genuine person rather than the media clowns some managers are...

OGS was there and also Scott Young. Always enjoy Jenner Park and the BTU friendly matches, as everyone in Barry has and always will be staunch Bluebirds. There was an old bloke called Terry who started Barry chants by walking up to a plastic wheelie bin that was at the front and then banging on it. He also spurred his team on by standing up and playing a rather fine hunting bugle. Funniest chant of the night was 'Terry, Terry, Give Us A Blow'. It also pissed down and is continuing to piss down.
