I'm afraid Tan is working his magic.

Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:09 pm

Many fans are now frowning upon protesting for blue, as tan said let's focus on getting back to the prem before we make changes. why? Because he believes that success will mute protest. If people stop with the blue protests It will seem to Tan that people just want prem football. I'm afraid if we focus too much on the footballing side of things tan will 100% stay with his red.

safe to say 95% of fans will be wearing blue this season, no one will forget what Tan has done! But the signings he and OGS have made have been excellent, so people have the right to be excited about the season!

I agree be excited, back the team but some on here are slating 19:27! If things become to lovey lovey it could become a repeat of our first promotion winning season in red by which all seemed fine hence him believing the blue was a minority which has ofcourse since been changed but has to be kept up otherwise we look fickle.

i get what you mean, i don't understand how people can say singing blue songs puts the team off!

It does not put the team off. Those who are saying it are either trolling or making themselves look stupid.

Glad to read that if we winning or losing we still do the 19:27. Let the revolution continue.

That's their choice.

You either walk away, sad and blue
Or stay and stand, for what is true.

Whilst I am all for the 19:27 to continue I disagree that anyone disagreeing is trolling or making themselves look stupid. The atmosphere at most Cardiff games last year from October onwards was poisonous at best. I believe those argueing against may be pointing towards that as their reasons to be against the 19:27 protest. There were many games last year that nothing was sung from the stands for the whole 90 minutes except Anti Tan songs or We'll always be blue. It definitely felt to me as though the atmosphere was just one of hostility and being against the team, that definitely WOULD put the team off.

I think if kept at 19:27 ONLY during matches. Plus outside the stadium pre game. Or a post game protest (preferably after a win so it does not just look like sour grapes). Is the best way to keep the momentum whilst still supporting the team IMO. Also 19:27 should be pro blue and not Anti Tan IMO. There is a big point of difference between those two ideas.

When Tan eventually sells up, he will be gifting the new owner the best open goal ever:

Turn CCFC back to blue and the fans will love you forever.

Sadly it's true that with success the protests die down and with failure they get bigger and louder. It's not right but it's the way it's happens.
I'm hoping we are more than we did last championship season.

Re: I'm afraid Tan is working his magic.

Tue Aug 05, 2014 4:33 pm

There'll be loads of red shirted fans joining in the protest at 19:27 without an ironic thought entering their heads. Success breeds morons.

So many times seen someone wearing red singing we'll always be blue. Seen someone wearing red on a BU march clapping them along taking pictures. Also seen two lads around sixteen with there City training tops on with the new badge joining in when everyone was pointing to the new badge at the main entrance singing "What the f*cking hell is that ? " :laughing6: :laughing6:
Only City fans ehh :laughing6: :laughing6: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

So if they want blue back but aren't bothered they shouldn't get involved?

Re: I'm afraid Tan is working his magic.

So if a new owner turns us back to blue he will be loved forever will he. What if like most past Chairman he sells our best players; signs crap replacements and sends us plummeting down the leagues ? Well he may be loved by those few fans that stick around. But I and thousands of others will not be among them. I have had my fill of watching rubbish over the years.
