With Birmingham receiving a sell on clause for Jordon Mutch, maybe we can do a deal

ANOTHER kind of clause in a top player's contract, why have we been taken for mugs :(

Seems like an adequate replacement for Mutch though(Adeyemi)

Carl I'm hearing he's handed a transfer request to force a move to us as we're still interested.

Most probably back to Norwich. He went back home last month and dropped into the club to give an interview.

Never seen him play but my mate is a big brum fan and rated him more than mutch. Hope we can get him quick unless its another club who have turned his head, Carl are you aware of anything definite on him joining us?

Vice captain, Tom Adeyemi is believed to have handed in a transfer request to pave away to Cardiff City according to Sky Sports sources.

After the sales of former Blues player Jordon Mutch to QPR and Gary Medel to Inter, it looks almost certain Adeyemi will be the player to replace them. The 22 year old was given the vice captaincy role last week in an attempt to keep him at the club but it has proven to be to no avail.

Adeyemi joined Birmingham on a two year deal last summer from Norwich and was a stand out player last season. His powerful, direct running and midfield leadership gifted Blues vital points last season and will be hugely missed.

The former Brentford man is set to become the 5th promising youngster Blues have flogged for less than they were possibly worth after the sale of Jack Butland (Stoke), Nathan Redmond (Norwich), Foday Nabay (Fulham), and Jordon Mutch (Cardiff.)

And still, with the on going takeover speculation and the BIHL still in charge, there's not much Blues can do but accept any offers that are thrown at them.

Rubbish, those type of clauses are common, especially for younger players. If you're going to give anyone abuse for the Mutch deal, then you've got to acknowledge the impressive profit turned on him.

He only has 8 months left on his contract. If we pay anything over £1million, I would be very shocked! :ayatollah: good signing this...
My mate is a Brummie fan and has said that he is a fast player who covers alot of ground. Apparently he is known at St. Andrews for being strong and hard working. Sounds very promising :bluescarf:

They are saying he can play defensive midfielder or be a box to box type. He can tackle, close down opposition and drive forward. He sounds a lot more mobile and tougher than what we currently have in central midfield. Not sure about his passing hope its better than gunnars.
