One of my mate in work has told me we’re tying up deals for Wes Brown and Kevin Nolan.
Any truth in this ? I’d be very happy with both, especially Nolan who I have always rated, the guy is a leader and very good footballer. Brown would add much needed experience at the back.

Cant see it but who knows.
how did your mate hear ?

Theres no chance of West Ham letting Nolan go, be very happy to be proved wrong.

My mate Stu works with a guy who writes for a city message board and knows people working for city

Turning 35 this autumn, this seems like a very strange signing If its true. Dont wanna think about his wage demand.

Isn't Nolan stuck in the middle of the Big Sam, Ravel Morrison and board argument?
Perhaps it's another tempt to undermine Big Sam by the board.
Cannot see Nolan going for it though.

Wes Brown....always gets sent off when he's not injured

Nolan would be a great signing - could b captain n take charge in our midfield. A strong midfield is essential to how Ole want us to play. If we have a sloppy midfield our defence will be bombarded and get all the blame.
I think Eikrem, who I believe is very talented, with good vision, would be more suited as a wingback in our system.
Hope Ole brings in someone like Nolan!!

Can't see Eikrem as a wingback. You need pace and a great engine to get up and down the field and create overlaps to be a wingback. That description fits players like Brayford, Fabio and John but not Eikrem in my opinion. I do agree however that he is talented but he is ineffective out wide. He needs to play in central midfield I believe.

If this is true and he did sign, this would guarantee promotion.

Can't stand Nolan, but a quality player at Championship level. Was class when he was in this league with West Ham.
Can't see it happening though.

Always thought wes brown was going to be a top top CB, remember seeing him in United youth when we had a testimonial at Ninian Park.
