Madjid Bougherra Signs For Fujairah

Newly-promoted Arabian Gulf League side Fujairah have announced the signing of Algerian defender Madjid Bougherra on a 1-year contract, with an option to extend.
Bougherra spent the majority of his career in the UK, playing for English sides Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic, as well as Scottish giants Rangers - where he won three Scottish league titles and two cups - before leaving Europe for a 3-year stint in Qatar with Lekhwiya.
The 31-year-old has 64 international caps for Algeria and captained his national team in this summer's 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Cant say I am disappointed as I never rated him highly enough for what is required here.

I think the club that he has joined gives you and idea of his level. Guaranteed that any link we had with him came about by an agent attempting to get him a better deal and club.
