' Barry Town v Cardiff City Tuesday 7pm 5th August £5 Admission :ayatollah:

The pair made their first team debuts against Chelsea in the final match of the Premier League last season

Tom James and Rhys Healey, who both made their Cardiff City first team debuts against Chelsea last season, are set to face Barry Town United at Jenner Park on Tuesday (7pm).

The two young Bluebirds are among the brightest prospects in Cardiff’s squad and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to make the trip to Barry for the match.

Teenage full-back James, from Taffs Well, and striker Healey, signed from Welsh Premier League Connah’s Quay, have both penned new contracts with City since Solskjaer took charge.

They played in the final Premier League match of last season when Chelsea were the visitors to Cardiff City Stadium.

Solskjaer sends his under-21 development squad to Jenner Park with Slovakian midfield player Filip Kiss, who played Scottish Premier League football for Ross County on loan last season, also likely to be in the squad. Kiss was an unused substitute during City’s 3-3 draw against Vfl Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Charlie Horton, the goalkeeper who grew up in America and signed for Cardiff during the close season, and striker Danny Johnson, are both also in line to play against Barry. Middlesbrough-born Johnson, 21, is on trial with the Bluebirds after firing 56 goals for Northern League Guisborough last season and Solskjaer will make a decision on his future soon.

He has scored three goals during City's pre-season matches, including a fiercely struck shot from 25 yards during a 3-0 win against Chasetown.

Jaye Bowen, the son for ex-Cardiff player Jason, Uruguyan under-20 international Maxi Amondarain and Adeji Oshilaja are all in Cardiff’s squad for the trip to Barry.

Cardiff City squad: Charlie Horton (gk), Ben Wilson (gk), Maxi Amondarain, Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, Adedeji Oshilaja, Kane Owen, David Tutonda, Tom James, Curtis Watkins, Bradley Wickham, Josh Yorwerth, Anthony Bell, Jaye Bowen, Tommy O’Sullivan, Tyler Roche, Macauley Southam, Ben Watkins, Theo Wharton, Bradley Williams, Dane Griffiths, Rhys Healey, Gethyn Hill, Filip Kiss, Danny Johnson.

Tickets for Barry and Cardiff supporters cost £5 and can be obtained via http://www.barry.ticketsource.co.uk .

There will be a match programme on sale with a strict limit of one per person.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was among more than 1,000 spectators who watched a young Cardiff City team win 3-0 against Barry Town United on Tuesday evening.

The Bluebirds manager and his coaching staff watched Cardiff’s under-21 players against the Welsh League outfit.

Anthony Bell scored Cardiff’s first goal after 26 minutes when he cut inside a defender and fired low into the corner from 25 yards, but City were rocked when Curtis Watkins was carried off on a stretcher with Deji Oshilaja taking over.

Cardiff included two trialists spotted when the development squad went on a pre-season tour to Portugal and one of them headed in from a corner to make it 2-0.

Was Tutonda the guy wearing number 2? Left back? Was impressed with him but I left just before the penalty so wasn't sure what his name was.
