Thought he showed what a good keeper he is today. Two very decisive pieces of play in particular. Not saying he's a threat to Marshall at the moment but I'd keep him ahead of joe lewis on what ive seen pre season.

A Neuer moment on the one, nice to see a keeper actually commit to something and not back out. Rare to see that.

Excellent at Brentford I still don't understand why he came to be third choice. To be fair we have seen so little of Joe Lewis it would be wrong to dismiss his ability. However I would be very content with Simon as second or first choice although so pleased Marshall still here.

I think we are incredibly lucky to still have him. Common national consensus he was the best in the Premiership. And better than Campbell, Caulker, Medel and Mutch!

He played well. Had Marshall gone, I'd have had no qualms with him being our number 1.

I think the only reason we have kept hold of Marshall is none of the top 8 prem teams needed a new GK to be their number one choice and Marshall wouldnt leave to sit on the bench. Also with the price tag we put on him we have priced out the rest of the prem out as £10-15million for a GK is quite hefty for mid - bottom half team. By far the best keeper in the Championship. :notworthy:

As for Moore and Lewis think we have realy good cover if Marsh got injured might be worth loaning one of them out though on a recall basis.
