Eikrem & Mason

Surprised by Eikrem, never really rated him, but playing out of position he looked far better than i thought....

Not sure why Ole didn't pair him with Whitts intead of gunnar who I felt reminded me of Savage constently chasing lost causes and being out of position.

I am a big fan of Joe Mason but physically he hasn't developed in two seasons, he still looks too weak..

You're right about Mason, he needs to bulk up.

I actually thought Gunnarsson had a good game.

He looks so so good playing with boys or playing against non league teams.
It's a shame because it's so physical in this league

someone should twitter him one of my muscle gaining training programmes

I thought Gunnarsson was awful when De Bruyne was on the pitch - gave him far too much space, but once he went off he gained confidence and had a very good second half. I wouldn't start him in the enforcer role though - he gives the ball away far too cheaply and too many needless free kicks.

Eikrem's a good footballer, makes good quick decisions, can see a pass and has the ability to play what he sees.
