You want to stay in the damrak area. Right close to the train station, red light district and all the nice coffee shops. Best website is travelsupermarket imo. Beem a good few times and stayed im different areas but damrak is definitely the best...enjoy

If your going just for the weed, take a look at Barcelona, you can legally buy it there if you join a cannabis club, which is easy.

Much cheaper, Amsterdam is amazing, but seriously expensive. If you plan to eat over there you will be living in mcdonalds.

The weed is expensive to, about 16-20 euros for a gram of nice stuff.

Grey Area is the best coffee shop IMO. Hardly any seats though.

yeah its expensive as f**k these days for weed, food and booze. been about 6 times but not for about 2 years. i usually stay within damrak/red light/leidseplein vicinity then you can either tram up and down or walk it in a straight line following the tram line or path that practically goes straight through over the river bridges etc.

abraxus, dolphin, grasshopper, bulldog palace, dampkring are good ones i frequent.

I've heard it's dear out there, i dont mind a bit of weed but I was thinking of trying a couple other things over there - apparently not only the weed seems to be better, but apparently pills, booze and things like shrooms which I've yet to try.

Cheers for the tips! :ayatollah:

Grasshopper and the Bulldog are tourist type places not real coffee shops far better places such as Grey Area etc.
