Sea of Blue in the Red Stand tomorrow

Fri Aug 01, 2014 11:18 am

Every time Tan slaps a drop of his sickly red in the stadium we must counter it with more blue.

I doubt if he'll be there tomorrow but I expect he'll be checking the footage somewhere, so let him see his new red monstrosity covered in blue scarves, shirts and flags. Blue ticker tape and balloons will also help to send out the message that we are a blue club at heart.

It will also help the new players understand what we are all about. Caulker, Bellamy and Campbell have all made a reference to the importance of blue to the fans so the message does get through to them. So lets get the new players on board as early as possible.

Sea of Blue everyone. thumbup

 I wont ever sit in the red shit but totally agree, anyone going in the new stand fill it with blue. Pathetic that we even have to have this discussion but it is what it is. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

The fact that the fans remain blue does get to Tan. One day he will either leave or change back to blue. Either way we will be a totally blue club one day. :ayatollah:

I think we'll definitely be back blue soon! I'll be in the new stand, wearing my blue!

It would be awesome if we could get everyone in the stand in blue, it would really stand out against the 'shity' read.. :bluescarf:

Looking forward to the game in all honesty.

I went to a Q&A with Ole this week and he confirmed that none of this 'helps' the players in any way, and that it is in fact quite distracting. Well done for that. And I don't need the likes of you to keep telling me what to do. Unlike you I will concentrate on giving all my energy to supporting the team.

Not all seas are blue, some are murky, green, brown so you need a variety of colours to make a sea

Bit hypocritical suggesting people wear blue to cover up the new red stand but at the same time stating that you wouldn't sit up their yourselves.

If you want it turned blue put your money where your mouth is and get up there. Or else leave others decide for themselves what they want to wear.

You're just driving more wedges between supporters and setting up negative agendas before the seasons even started.

"Mins"

Accompanied by a cheap and nasty card holder too . Straight in the recycling . Reflective of our club in general really .

Very odd that people still go to the ground even though the shirts are now red and the badge has changed. But are now getting their arse in their hands over a plastic seat.

We should continue to say no to the rebrand but let's get a bit of proportionality to our protests. It's a bit of plastic that actually looks better for giving the stadium a bit of individuality.

Anyway if you are unable to see the difference between the awful rebrand of shirts and a piece of plastic you just stick your arse on.......

The club have opened up the centre 2 blocks of the lower Ninian Stand.

In your opinion, it may look better, but not everyone sees it that way. I personally feel that it looks horrific & that it certainly represents part of the horrific rebrand forced on the club.

In my opinion it adds to the individuality of the stadium, yes.

But in respects to what has happened with the rebrand it is rather minor compared to the monstrous shirt and badge change. At this point in time it is the shirt and badge that are more important AND can be changed back, the stand is done and dusted and only reverts at a high cost.

Anyway, as with many, I'll just sit up there today decked out in Blue and it'll look like the rest of the ground. :bluescarf:

Good post but I don't think it will really happen in a friendly match.
