Who would your strikers be for Blackburn away?

I assume we'll be playing two strikers at Blackburn next Friday.

As we have plenty of options, we can't guess who Ole will pick.

So, who would be YOUR two strikers at Blackburn?

Macheda and Guerra.

Its too difficult to say because I haven't got a clue what Ole has up his sleeve regarding our formation. Id personally like to see a 4-2-3-1, sacrifice a striker and give the team more balance with 2 sitting midfielders, one destroyer and one ball player (Dikgacoi & Whitts). Only from looking at the pre-season games Id go with Macheda as the lone striker, he looks to link up well and with players like Mats and Mutch breaking from midfield I think we should cause Blackburn problems.

Has to be LeFondre and Guerra or Lefondre and Macheda for me but LeFondre is my first choice

I've gone for the same.

But something in the back of my mind is thinking macheda just behind Jones.

Why is no one giving Nicky Maynard any love? From what I have seen of him in pre-season he has looked like a beast! Him and Adam to start up front for me! Or Kiko for Adam

Best strike force in the Championship by far, we are very strong in this department, and no one knows who our main two strikers this season will be.

That's why we SHOULD storm this League ...

I would play macheda on the left jones and lefondre in the middle and maynard on the right with Guerra behind the front two

Agreed. He's been anonymous in every friendly I've seen, including todays. He seems to have a good footballing brain with decent vision, but he doesn't do anywhere near enough for me. Compare Guerra's performance to Le Fondre and Maynard, who both linked up superbly with each other in the first half and both looked threats, with Maynard hitting the post and scoring and Le Fondre setting up Jones' header against the post leading to Kim's tap in, plus their work rate and all round contribution; there's no comparison. I would put Guerra behind Le Fondre, Maynard, Jones and Macheda at the moment. Bizarrely, Guerra is leading the vote, which I find incredible, but that's Cardiff fans for you.

After today I'd go for Le Fondre defo. Maybe paired with Macheda in big man/little man set up.
