It is believed that despite rumours that the deal was off,Manchester United defender Michael Keane will meet with OGS today regarding a possible season long loan deal at Cardiff City.

Yeah because Ole is going to fly all the way to the USA during one of the most important parts of the season(pre-season) in terms of team building, just to have 'TALKS' with a player, especially on loan. Same for the player, I doubt he'd travel just for 'TALKS'

I don't see Ole flying to America at this crucial stage of pre-season either, however, it is perfectly feasible that City's hierachy and United's have come to an agreement over the 'phone regarding the player.If the player agrees to the move in principle It is therefore in his interest to sit down and have talks about such an important career move (season long loan) and go over the finer points of the contract.
Also, if all parties have agreed in principle to this deal then it would make sense to pull him from tour right now, rather than tempt fate and risk injury.
