Joe Mason will be offered a new contract at Cardiff City his £8,000 per week deal ends in 2016,but Solskjaer wants him to commit beyond that and Mason has been offered around £10,000 a week plus bonuses.

Solskjaer is this season willing to let Mason go out on loan to Bolton or Brighton, Bolton are front runners to take Mason on a years loan.

Taylor was susspended for the first game of season so someone had to fill in, Lappin was/is useless (Signed for cover in Championship) so John had to fill In for Taylor and impressed, Taylor was being ran ragged when he came back so John our only LB had to step up...

I think mason should be playing weekly myself but its all about opinions and up to the manager if they think players are good enough

Taylor has signed for Wigan hasn't he?

Seems a fair offer to me, especially when you consider what others are probably on.

Also puts us in a better position when selling him.

Its a way of getting quality without paying through the nose for it.For his age he's one of the coolest finishers I've ever seen,that's worth the money alone.Not the quickest but he defiantly got something about him.That goal against Liverpool sticks in my mind.Loads would have shot wide or blasted it over the bar and you just can't coach that.You've either got it or you haven't.

I think masons problem is he doesn't make enough impact in games but that will come with game time.
