' Joe Mason '

Joe Mason will be offered a new contract at Cardiff City his £8,000 per week deal ends in 2016,but Solskjaer wants him to commit beyond that and Mason has been offered around £10,000 a week plus bonuses.

Solskjaer is this season willing to let Mason go out on loan to Bolton or Brighton, Bolton are front runners to take Mason on a years loan.

I like Ole's thinking here because he could damage our rivals with his goals which will help us well done Ole! :ole: :ole:

Two different playing area's... John is a LB, an area where last season we onl had 3 players who played in that position Taylor, Lappin and John. Taylor was susspended for the first game of season so someone had to fill in, Lappin was/is useless (Signed for cover in Championship) so John had to fill In for Taylor and impressed, Taylor was being ran ragged when he came back so John our only LB had to step up...

Makes no diffrence where he plays on the park hes either got it at his age now or move him on, paying 10k a week for a stand player or loaned out makes ZERO sence, Wheres a new left back to cover taylor if thats the case as johns only 18. :bluescarf:

Should use Mason as a bargaining tool to get Chung-Yong Lee from Bolton, as part of a swap loan deal.

I think mason should be playing weekly myself but its all about opinions and up to the manager if they think players are good enough :bluescarf:

Hope we don't take him on loan now, I'd hate it if we take him and he flourishes under our coaching staff and becomes a sort after player. Sod being your feeder club.

Taylor has signed for Wigan hasn't he?

Seems a fair offer to me, especially when you consider what others are probably on.

Also puts us in a better position when selling him.

Its a way of getting quality without paying through the nose for it.For his age he's one of the coolest finishers I've ever seen, that's worth the money alone. Not the quickest but he defiantly got something about him. That goal against Liverpool sticks in my mind.Loads would have shot wide or blasted it over the bar and you just can't coach that. You've either got it or you haven't.

I think masons problem is he doesn't make enough impact in games but that will come with game time.

Isn't that the idea of the lone system that the other team pays his wages, unless you're mega rich like Man City

I thought the whole idea was young players to gain experiance and players that return from injury to gain match fitness?
