Leicester and Burnley last year

These two stormed the league and got promoted automatically. I'm sure both teams played with 2 strikers and played 4-4-2, nugent and vardy for Leicester and vokes and ings for Burnley? Is this right or wrong can anyone confirm this?

No idea, I became a premiership snowboard only watched MOTD an loved it 
I think every manager will vary it though. I think ole will set up 4-4-2 but wide players tight and cutting in and fullback pushing on.

Yes they did play that formation and Burnley were something like 25-1 for promotion. Just goes to show how unpredictable this league is.

Burnley showed its about the team, not the best individuals. I just hope we get our work ethic right and create good partnerships throughout the squad. For a start I'd be happy if we can keep the ball for more than 5 seconds...........

Burnley yes. Did we not win the championship title there. Was a good day for them as well. A last minute goal giving them hope of avoiding relegation. Less than 12 months later and look what happens.

We had Sam Vokes on loan the season before last and he was complete rubbish and goes to Burnely last season and helps fires them to promotion and was on top form.
Look at the season before last with Palace who finished 5th from bottom when we won the first division and came up, they signed Murray from us (free) and were top until Christmas then fell away and finished 5th and went up via the play offs at our expense.
It seems if you finish near the relegation zone then the following season you are guaranteed promotion

The season we went up Burnley finished 11th on 61pts, 7 short of the play offs. Not really relegation fodder.
