Inter Milan are not going away

Inter President believes Medel will bring Champions League

Monday, 28th July 2014

The Italian side appear confident of getting their man and intend to keep trying.

Inter Milan's president Erick Thohir believes Gary Medel could be the key to his clubs desire to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.
"Inter's objective for 2014-15 is to qualify for the Champions League and I think we can make it with the arrival of Medel in midfield and a great new striker," Thohir was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

Talks are thought to still be ongoing between Cardiff and Inter over the Chile .

So far Gary Medel has had hardly any input in negotiations and its just been between the clubs.

Cardiff manager Solskjaer has offered Medel the Captaincy and an improved contract.

Is it true we have upped the asking price because they were faffing about so much?

Gone from £10million to £12million?

I know he's only worth what someone pays but I do like the thought that they bid less took the piss so we put the price up. :)

That's what I do. Give someone a price. They try to drop the price so I add the same amount on, and then say lets go half the difference and we are back at what I said to start.

If Medel will bring them Champions League football as they seem to say , then he is worth an extra £2m

Stick to our guns and the Italians will surrender (if past experience is anything to go by!).

Champions league footie will come at a cost, and it's 12 million pounds so if they are serious about wanting Medel just pay the money and make it happen. Sick of them just talking and trying to unsettle Gary even more than he may be already :bluescarf:

They know they can get him by offering the £12m price tag so if they want him why dont they just offer the money or f**k off im getting sick of hearing Inter milans bull shit in the papers its a daily occurance now put up or shut up Inter

They clearly know they need him more than we need to sell him. That puts all the cards in our hands. They should pay up or jog on. £10 million at least I want to see bid for him. I'd even accept £8m up front and £2m over the next year or two.

The more they try and bully us the higher we should rise the price!
