The Bluebirds boss confirmed Noone's groin injury is not as bad as first feared - and he will be back in training over the next few weeks.
Solskjaer ordered a full medical investigation into Noone's groin problem. He had a spell out last season and suffered a recurrence in the pre-season match against Carmarthen Town.
The lively Noone is a key player in Cardiff's squad and Solskljaer said: "It's good news about Craig, but we won't rush him back."
Noone will not be ready for the opening Championship fixtures of the season because he has missed a fair bit of pre-season training, but Solskjaer is delighted he will be back within the first month or so of the new season.

Great news. Would like us to sign Eagles on a free or get someone like Scott Sinclair in on loan as extra competition out wide though. Hope to see quick wingers this season over Kim, Cowie, Whittingham who I would class as centre midfielders. Don't mind Dhaeli wide though if he's given the chance to roam around

I wouldn't worry about seeing Cowie before anyone mate!
