You only don't care because they're Palestinians and they're Islamic. If this was the other way around you'd be outraged at the attempted genocide of the Jews.
What about the thousands of Palestinian civilians Adam killed by Israelis?

Don't think Egypt would give a shit about the Palestinians. Country's like Saudi, Egypt and other gulf nations would be happy to see the Palestinians get killed as they are all Shia in faith.

1st world military sponsored by the only world superpower bombing shit out of my almost 3rd world city , in search of killing senior elected officials of an elected government.
Do you think they voted for Hamas because they realised it was a rigged game, and the only protest to the outside world was to vote for the undesirables.
Hope I don't get bombed for voting UKIP.........

But Hamas only recently came into power.
So why were they being systematically slaughtered since the formation of Israel. Who are people going to turn to when innocent people are getting killed by the Israelis. This has nothing to do with religion either, even Jews who live internationally are against the operation as well.
I am not defending Hamas either, they are terrorists......but so are the Israeli government. Innocent civilians are getting killed both sides. But if the world continues to let this happen, then hurt, loss, anger will turn those Palestinians as potential recruitments to Hamas.

Hamas started this latest issue by firing rockets into Israeli neighbourhoods for many many months on a daily basis!!! This latest offensive by Israel is a response of those rocket attacks and no-one in their right mind would continue to turn a blind eye to this if the rockets were landing in their neighbours, street or even house on a daily basis. Everyone of us would want our government to sort it out and that is what Israel are doing.

How on earth can you compare UKIP to Hamas FFS!!! Hamas was a terrorist organisation who's attacks and views against Israel have built their support to ultimately win a government election. Now I do not believe one bit that people who voted for Hamas did not know that they were going to attack Israel especially with their history of attacking Israel.
To my knowledge UKIP haven't sent any suicide bombers to Brussels yet

So you think the british government should have bombed areas of Northern and Southern Ireland in the 80's then ?
I can't believe any sane minded individual can condone Israels actions, regardless of political affiliation.
Whats one Israeli worth ? A thousand Arabs ????? Because that's the logic that persists at the moment.

Bollox, before the latest land offensive rockets were fired by Hamas into Israel for months without any response. During those rocket attacks Israeli families have died yet still no response then once they say 'enough is enough' and respond then many are outraged!!! If you look at my posts surrounding this it's not actually supporting either side as it's just putting some of the truths on the board which had in fact been welcomed by other members of this board because it's educated them more about the situation.

While I disagree with them killing Israeli civilians 30 have died from rocket fire since 2001. So many more Palestinians have been killed in this most recent conflict. Do you have a link for the claim you made at the start of the thread?

I don't know enough about this dispute to argue one way or the other. What I'd like to know is when were the elections that placed Hamas in power, and what percentage of people living in the Gaza strip voted for them.

The point that you may want to consider is; for how long the Palestinians have been systematically oppressed since the late 1947 up until today. Look at the original geographic landscape of 1949 Palestine to todays Palestine and form your own judgement.
Palestinians have had many different governments, with Fatah being the most liberal of them all. But this hasn't stopped the bloodshed on either side. So, say for example England kept on bombarding Wales, and took our homes, and killed women and children, would you vote for green peace and hope for the best.
This is not about being anti-Israeli or anti-Palestinian; and this not a new issue, we are talking about decades of neglect which has had far reaching consequences and the impact on the whole world.
