A club thats going through transition.

I really don't understand how such a club from a footballing area like the North East finds itself mid table of the championship. Always considered it a working mans club just like Newcastle and Sunderland but they seem to have failed this transition period of keeping its element of working class supporters while attracting the more affluent fan, that being the businessman.

My gfs family are from up boro way and my gfs dad is adamant this is the best side they have had in the championship for a long time and thinks they should be battling for the top 6.

Should be an interesting season. Just hope we beat them on my bday so I don't have any messages off him.
