I'll be honest, when he first arrived I thought he was going to be a poor signing. First few matches he made so many mistakes and was generally poor.
However, towards the end of the season, he improved drastically. Loved his passion at Sunderland away.
Hope we see that side of him more, and hope he plays like he did in our last few games.

As soon as he got match fit he was one of our best players easily.

He was ok until he attempted to defend. Man u didn't let him go for nothing!

Pretty poor when he first came here but the last few games of last season he played really well. This season in the Championship i think he is going to be quality for us and a possible Player of the Season candidate.

I don't think we need manu quality at the moment.

Fantastic. Made the most interceptions/tackles of the weekend we played Everton wasn't it? Very versatile and I wouldn't mind him being a winger if/when Noone is injured? If we're playing with a wing back role etc. Actually a hard worker as well, love watching him

He will be great in the Championship

Let's face it he can't defend he was the poorer defender of the twins and Rafael is dog shit. For a player like fabio who likes to bomb forward in the modern wing back role we will either play with 3 central defenders or rely on the holding midfielder to plug the gap. The left side of our team is where we could get a lot of joy from going forward but also exposed at the back.
He did improve towards the end of the season just hope they've worked on his defensive duties during the summer break.

Will rip the championship apart.

I rate him, enjoying attitude. Works better on left side.

Was stand out against Liverpool, especially in attack. Obviously weaker defensively than going forward but should be first choice left back this season.

Once settled and fit was brilliant, deffo a wingback rather than a full back though. As long as the players around him understand his game he will kill it this year.

Like him. Quick, brave, skilful. Struggled at first, but was our best player for the last 6 games. Plays like he cares too. Which is more than I could say for a few of the ' big stars' toward the end of the season with their escape clauses. With him on the right and john on the left we'll have real attacking options, pace and courage, not only in the tackle, but courage to try something ( unlike Taylor). Will need though 2 solid centre mids to cover them.

Good enough. Hes learned through Ole, and is no weak point anymore, rather the opposite.

I think hes too small and he makes costly mistakes
we will lode points because of this, this season

i think he will be one of our better players this year

He would be a great wingback if we played a different formation.

Lol, when? I think he wasnt on par in the first few games, but lately that cant Fabio...

He's going to breeze through the Championship provided he doesn't let teams get in behind him like he did when he first joined us.

Ned, I am still undecided on Fabio, the jury is out with me.

He looked properly inept in his first few games, but I warmed to him in the last few as he showed some real effort and passion.

No weak point? Mate, watch his defending!
On the plus side he's decent going forward, tough in the tackle & is very passionate in his play.
I like him & think he can continue to improve.
