At this moment in time both players are still with us along with another regular in Turner. So why is everyone worried about our defence ?
Personally I think Malky's team (particularly the midfield)
We're very workmanlike ...Cowie, Gunnarson,Conway were not flair players but done a lot of the donkey work.
Can Ole take any lessons from Malky ?
Unless the level of the championship has improved radically then we should be fine, the problem is that we are ridiculously attack focussed. The best teams in the world all have a midfield donkey, the best donkeys are also skillful, the best being schweinsteiger. It showed in our last match that against decent teams we simply cannot play a midfield full of playmakers without them having the collective desire to also track their players, only daehli was doing this. With such attacking full backs im not suprised we got murdered. What i was amazed at was that the goals stopped after half time but this may be because they eased up. I simply dont trust gunnarson as a watercarrier so we really only have kg. We need work on a far more balanced style if we want to get back and stay in the pl.
